When Kip and Elizabeth launched Mountain Creek Ranch about a year and a half ago, they started with a line of products. Elizabeth's love for animals and her horse show background eventually led them to consider expanding Mountain Creek Ranch to include dog agility. But what breed of dog? Kip loves the larger dogs - the Saint Bernard and the Bernese Mountain Dog. Elizabeth loves small dogs. As Kip has a difficult time telling Elizabeth "no" . . . small dogs it was. And what a small dog she found.
Born to a loving family in a tiny rural Missouri town was the perfect patriarch to their new agility operation. But Tank is not just an agility dog. He is part of their family, joining Kip and Elizabeth on vacations, short weekend trips and their favorite pasttime - hiking. Tank will soon complete his first full year of agility training when he graduates from 2x2 Weave Poles this month at All Star Dog Sports in Blue Springs, Missouri. Their plan is to enter him into his first agility trials the summer of 2018.
Soon the time came to search for a female Yorkie. And Elizabeth hit out of the park again.
Like Tank, Texas . . . or as Kip and Elizabeth call her, The Texas Tornado was born into a loving family in a small rural Missouri town. Elizabeth sent the video below to Kip and his response was "she's the one . . . pull the trigger."
Keep following this blog and the Tank and Texas Tornado Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/tankandtexas/ for all the updates on agility, growing up . . . and one day tiny little pet and agility Yorkie puppies.
PS . . . their Instagram account is in the works too.
